Distribution Center Manager

I came to Fitness Showrooms with 17 years of, shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience. I am trained on six different types of lift equipment with more than eight years of experience on each. I joined the team here at Fitness Showrooms because of its positive upbeat attitude and commitment to growth. I look forward to grow along with them.

Fitness Showrooms has given me an opportunity to do more than just manage. Since my first day I have been at the drawing board planning and executing the reorganization of the warehouse. This reorganization has allowed us to compensate for the influx of merchandise we are now working with. At the current levels of merchandise, we have the ability to serve our customers better by offering more options than our nearest competitor.

Outside of the warehouse, I am married to a beautiful woman named Stephanie. She and I have been married since April 2000. We have no children; however, we have many other interests that keep us busy. Because we believe in giving back to the community we both volunteer. Stephanie, at the, Manor at Woodside, a retirement home here in Poughkeepsie, and I for the National Park Service as an interpretive guide at the Vanderbilt Historical Site in Hyde Park, NY.

I have studied military history since the age of twelve and on occasion give presentations on the America Civil War at local libraries. I'm a graduate of the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH; with that I may claim the title of, "Certified Audio Engineer." I am also an accomplished home brewer, winning several awards for recipes that I have created or co-created since January of 2008. My personal favorite is butter pecan ale whose inspiration was ice cream.

Patricia Mandel

Director of Client Services

I have been with Fitness Showrooms since 2007 and began my position contacting clients and informing them of our services menu. My dedication to perfection has swiftly promoted me to the head of the department. I make sure your installation and service experience is expedited through our team with professionalism and courtesy. I also maintain primary communication with over 500 of our most prominent commercial facilities in and around the New York City Metro market. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and swimming with my son and husband.

Carolyn Matragrano

Executive Assistant to Fabio Ravasi

I was born and raised in Manhattan and enjoyed a long career as a housewife in Westchester County, New York. I recently joined Fitness Showrooms so the Ravasi family can continue to grow into new markets. My position is complex since I wear two hats in this true family business. I am both the mother of Natalie Ravasi as well as the personal assistant to the President, Fabio Ravasi. My main duties consist of payroll, sales staff scheduling and accounting. However, I also cook and run an occasional errand for this energetic couple! My interests are diverse, I love to travel, study art history and read Russian literature. I also have a lovely daughter, Jacqueline who is an elementary school teacher for the Tuxedo Park School. Thank you for continuing to support our business.

Steve (Mitch) Mitchell

Chief Technical Engineer

I have over 20 years experience in the fitness industry in both distribution and service. I have been a Distribution Manager, Service Tech and Service Manager within the industry before coming to Fitness Showrooms in March of 2009. I have held numerous technical certifications in various types of fitness Equipment repair. As Chief Tech, I oversee the daily reporting of our service techs, parts ordering and warranty claim processing. If you have a service problem, I promise to coordinate the details to an immediate repair. You can count on our team!

I am also a guitarist/vocalist and currently perform with The Sundown Band, a southern rock cover/tribute band, which was formed in 1976 and still performs over 70 shows yearly in the tri state area.

Aileen Soto

National Accounts Manager

My name is Aileen Soto, I am the national account manager to over 30 reselling showrooms and independent design consultants throughout the East Coast. I work directly with our president in collaborating with these account to help them have immediate access to a spectrum of brands in stock and at the lowest prices so they can serve their direct clients!

I am currently working on an Accounting degree during evenings at a local and prestigious university. I have a beautiful six year old daughter A'Mya. She keeps me busy and motivated. I truely enjoy the time I have been with Fitness Showrooms thus far and I am looking forward to a wonderful future with the company.

Charlene Palazzo

Special Client Services Manager

I am a life long resident of the Hudson Valley. I received my Associates degree in Liberal Arts and Social Science and Humanities. I have worked in the customer service industry for over 20 years and enjoy helping others. I have worked very closely with the Ravasi Family for the last four years and so I truly understand the evolving needs of our clients. If your equipment needs service, my focus is to move you through our department with speed and efficiency. Recently, I am working on expanding our commercial client base under the guidance of our Director, Patricia Mandel.
